Loretta Lynn Gets Hospitalized  After Suffering Stroke

Loretta Lynn, the country music icon has been admitted to the hospital. She was admitted to the hospital Thursday night after suffering from a stroke.

This was made known through a statement on her official Facebook page released on behalf of the 85-year-old icon

“American country music legend Loretta Lynn was admitted into a hospital in Nashville last night after she suffered a stroke at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. She is currently under medical care and is responsive and expected to make a full recovery.”

Lynn’s doctors have advised her to “stay off the road while she is recuperating.”

The singer has suffered a good deal of health problems over the last few years. Back in 2011, she was hospitalized for early stages of pneumonia.

The singer might have to postpone several upcoming shows. She’s expected to perform at the Alabama Theater today and Penn’s Peak next week. Fans are encouraged to visit her website for more information regarding rescheduling.
