Dozens of Japan lawmakers visit controversial war shrine

It is now recorded that dozens of lawmakers in Japan today Tuesday, December 5, 2017, made a pilgrimage to the very controversial Yasukuni Shrine. This is where their neighbours China and South Korea see as the sole symbol of Tokyo’s militaristic past.

Shinzo Abe, the prime minister, did comfortably refrain from sending and making an offering, as he was used to in the years past.
